I've migrated all my old posts over to Wordpress.  And now you can find me on tumblr.  It's been fun, typepad.

We didn't get a Christmas tree this year. We strung some lights on our potted palm plant instead, but next year, we're going to have a proper Christmas, with family and candles and everything.

Broke my arm and dislocated my elbow while snowboarding. Joe and I made a night drive through fog and icy roads to get back to San Francisco on Sat, but I have to wait until Mon. before I wil l have the chance to see a surgeon. I am watching the Eagles beat the Vikings. A welcome distraction to sitting in bed and thinking about comparisons between impaired physical faculties and psychological imitations.
